Software Engineer, Android Developer Toolers

Google's Android Developer Tools team in Cambridge, MA onsite seeks a Software Engineer to help engineers build, test, debug, and release mobile apps and services.

Responsibilities

• Experience in one or more of the following areas: Bazel, Go, Gradle, Kotlin, Maven, Android Studio, and the Android Framework.
• Collaborate with internal teams and JetBrains regularly to drive feature development and bug fixes.
• Contribute to existing documentation or educational content and adjust materials based on product updates and user feedback.
• Triage product or system issues and debug, track, and resolve by analyzing issue sources and their impact on hardware, network, or service operations and quality.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Two years of software development experience with Kotlin or Go.
• Two years of experience with data structures and algorithms in academic or professional settings.
• One year of experience with build systems technology such as Bazel.
