Software Engineer - AI Trainer

DataAnnotation is hiring an existing Software Engineer - AI Trainer to support the training of AI models through hands-on coding work and review. Based in Glen Mills, PA with a remote setup, this contract role focuses on solving technical problems, communicating clearly, and evaluating AI-generated code so feedback can improve future model outputs.

Responsibilities

• Design and solve a range of coding problems that are used to train AI systems.
• Produce high-quality code snippets along with detailed explanations.
• Assess AI-generated code for accuracy, performance, and clarity.
• Deliver feedback intended to directly influence the next generation of AI models.

Requirements

• Fluency in English at a native or bilingual level.
• Proficiency in at least one of: JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, C, C#, C++, React, Go, Java, Kotlin, Swift.
• Strong writing and grammar skills.
• A bachelor's degree completed or in progress.
• Previous experience as a Software Developer, Coder, Software Engineer, or Programmer is preferred.

Compensation and Job Details

• Job type: contract

• Pay: projects paid hourly at $50 to $100 USD per hour
• Higher bonus rates may be available for certain projects.
