Job Description

Logic is hiring a Junior Software Engineer for a hybrid role based in Irving, TX. The position focuses on backend development, RESTful APIs, and SQL-driven data workflows, with responsibilities spanning development and operational support through monitoring and automation.

Role Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain backend services and microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
  • Design, build, and integrate RESTful APIs for internal and external application use.
  • Create SQL-based data extraction, validation, and transformation workflows.
  • Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and other database objects.
  • Support application reliability improvements through automation and proactive monitoring.
  • Implement CRUD operations and service integrations.

Required Qualifications

  • Java 17+ with 1–3 years of hands-on software development experience.
  • Spring Boot with 1–3 years of experience developing backend services, APIs, or microservices.
  • SQL with 1–3 years of experience covering queries, CRUD operations, and data extraction, transformation, and validation.
  • RESTful APIs with 1–3 years of experience developing and integrating backend APIs and services.
  • Data Processing/Migration with 1–3 years of experience or hands-on exposure to data migration, validation, and transformation activities.
  • HS Diploma / GED.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Python 3.10+ with 1+ year of experience or hands-on exposure to scripting, automation, or data processing.
  • Shell Scripting with 1+ year of experience or practical exposure to scripting and automation.
  • CI/CD Pipelines with 1+ year of experience or working knowledge of automated build and deployment pipelines.
  • Application Monitoring & Automation with 1+ year of experience or exposure to improving application reliability and operational support.

Location and Work Model

The role is hybrid in Dallas, TX or Charlotte, NC with an onsite requirement of three days per week at the client site.

Salary: USD 34–36 per hourly
