Software Engineer

TENEX.AI is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer in Overland Park, KS (hybrid) to build scalable services and responsive user interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable, reliable backend services and APIs
• Build and maintain responsive, user-friendly frontend applications
• Collaborate with product, design, and engineers to define and implement new features
• Write clean, well-documented, and testable code
• Participate in code reviews to improve code quality and share knowledge
• Troubleshoot and debug issues across the full stack
• Contribute to improving development processes and tools
• Stay current with latest technologies and industry trends
• Identify and solve technical challenges proactively

Requirements

• Strong understanding of software engineering principles and best practices
• Experience with at least one backend language such as Go or Python (or equivalent)
• Experience with at least one modern frontend framework such as Next.js, TypeScript, React, or Vue.js (or equivalent)
• Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as GCP or AWS
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly and independently
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
