Software Developer - Android

Vertifi Software LLC is seeking an experienced Software Developer focused on Android. The role centers on designing, developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining Android applications, with the possibility of expanding to other platforms over time.

Role Overview

You will work with a small team across the full development lifecycle. While Android is the priority platform, the position may also involve iOS and Windows work as needs evolve. Responsibilities include improving and maintaining applications across the product suite and participating in technical discussions related to architecture and code quality.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy Android applications, with opportunity to contribute across iOS and Windows as work requirements change
• Collaborate with a small team across the full development lifecycle
• Enhance and maintain existing applications across the product suite
• Contribute to architecture and code quality discussions

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software development experience
• Professional Android development experience, including shipped consumer-facing apps or SDKs in production
• Strong object-oriented programming fundamentals
• Comfort learning new languages and platforms as project needs demand
• Strong problem-solving skills and clear communication
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent professional experience
• Unrestricted authorization to work in the U.S.

Preferred / Ideal Background

• Experience with iOS development

Compensation

Salary: USD 90,000 per year (from $90,000.00 per year), commensurate with experience.
