Job Description

Benefits-forward hybrid role in Topeka, KS with a competitive salary starting at $68,000/year. Azura Credit Union is looking for a Software Developer to build and maintain custom software that supports organizational process requirements. You will contribute across the full stack, integrate APIs, and help shape how development work is documented, reviewed, and approved.

What you’ll do

  • Set up and maintain the development environment and a version control system.
  • Create and maintain documentation procedures for code submissions.
  • Establish a workflow for code submission, review, and approval.
  • Develop full stack web applications for custom solutions that meet business needs.
  • Build API interfaces that support other web applications.
  • Integrate with multiple REST and SOAP APIs.
  • Develop applications that connect to databases and multiple data sources.
  • Modify existing software to fix errors, improve performance, and upgrade functionality.
  • Consult with the project manager on feasibility of proposed projects.
  • Assist with scoping new development efforts.

What you bring

  • 3+ years of similar or related experience, including full stack web application development.
  • BA in Computer Science or comparable training and/or certification.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and strong follow through.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop web applications using HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.
  • Ability to demonstrate skill with required languages.
  • Experience documenting and testing through the software lifecycle.
  • Other languages/framework: a plus.
  • Mobile development: a plus.

Compensation and location

Salary: From $68,000.00 per year
