Job Description

Senior Unity Full Stack Developer role for Autonodyne LLC in the Boston area, offering hybrid work arrangements and a defense-focused development environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, test, debug, profile, and optimize Unity/C# code to meet deliverable requirements.
  • Collaborate with designers, product managers, and subject matter experts to transform concepts into working features.
  • Write clean, modular frontend and backend code with a focus on scalability, flexibility, and performance.
  • Apply knowledge of networking and real-time communication to your architectures.
  • Demonstrate strong debugging and problem-solving capabilities across the stack.
  • Balance independent delivery with leading a team toward end products.
  • Offer technical recommendations and participate in architecture and decision-making alongside senior engineers.
  • Engage with external vendors, customers, and integration partners to support integration efforts.
  • Support flight test activities as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, programming, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in a Full Stack Software Engineering role or Unity Game Developer role.
  • C# proficiency with 5 years of hands-on experience (Required).
  • Unity experience with 5 years of hands-on experience (Required).
  • Ability to quickly grasp technical subjects and communicate them clearly.
  • Proven leadership capable of mentoring colleagues and supporting individual growth.
  • US Citizenship is required.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain an Active DoD Secret Clearance.

Travel

  • Estimated 10-20% travel to customer and non-customer sites in North America, with potential for global travel.

Other Criteria

  • Strong preference for domicile near the Boston/Cambridge metro area; non-local domicile considered with relocation to Boston as part of the package.
  • US Citizenship required.
  • Security clearance (active or previous) or the ability to be granted one.

Salary Range

Salary: USD 120,000 - 180,000 per year
