Senior Full Stack Developer (Backstage and developer portal platforms)

System One is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to help build, improve, test, and maintain enterprise applications and developer portal solutions in a Lafayette, LA hybrid work setting. If you bring hands-on experience with Backstage and strong Java, React, Angular, and AWS skills, this role supports real product delivery across the development lifecycle.

What you’ll do

• Support the development, enhancement, testing, and maintenance of enterprise applications and developer portal solutions.
• Perform system-level application analysis and develop solutions aligned to business and technical requirements.
• Conduct unit testing and address defects identified across the testing lifecycle.

What you’ll bring

• 10+ years of professional software development experience.
• Hands-on experience with Backstage and developer portal platforms.
• Strong development experience with Java, React, and Angular.
• Experience developing and supporting applications in AWS.
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle.
• Knowledge of application servers, database servers, and system architecture.
• Experience with unit testing, defect resolution, and enterprise application delivery.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.
