Job Description

This role invites an experienced software engineer to design, build, and maintain applications and systems for both internal stakeholders and external customers. The position is based on-site in Phoenix, Arizona, with a three-day-per-week presence required.

Responsibilities

  • Design, modify, develop, write, and implement software applications that support internal business needs or external clients.
  • Document and sustain software functionality, including break/fix work and continuous enhancement.
  • Manage the full software development lifecycle from planning to deployment.
  • Produce well structured, testable, and efficient code for complex solutions.
  • Provide mentorship to Level I and II associates and assist with onboarding processes.
  • Apply extensive experience and judgment to plan objectives and achieve goals.
  • Perform additional duties as required to meet business objectives.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree with four or more years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor’s degree with five or more years of relevant experience, or seven or more years of equivalent experience.
  • Four or more years of technical, analytical, or development experience implementing Dynamics AX ERP software.
  • Microsoft Dynamics AX certification or a comparable ERP certification.
  • Experience with Agile development processes, methodologies, and tools.
  • Proven experience working with database technologies.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking skills and the ability to develop and execute advanced solutions.
  • Solid knowledge of X++ programming language.
  • Solid knowledge of AIF (Application Integration Framework).
  • Experience with SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services).
  • Multi-site implementations are a plus.
  • Experience in Manufacturing, HR/Payroll, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, or General Ledger is a plus.
