  • Design UI architecture and front-end component structure for scalable Angular applications with emphasis on performance, accessibility, usability, and maintainability.
  • Develop and maintain reusable Angular components using TypeScript, RxJS, and SCSS for responsive, high-performance web interfaces.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including backend developers, UX designers, and product owners, to translate functional and business requirements into technical deliverables.
  • Write and maintain unit tests using Jasmine and Karma, along with integration tests and Taiko automation scripts for comprehensive coverage and UI stability.
  • Monitor and manage GoCD CI/CD pipelines, troubleshoot and rerun failed builds, and coordinate with DevOps to maintain deployment integrity.
  • Conduct peer code reviews and provide detailed feedback, ensuring compliance with coding standards including linting and static code analysis for security and quality (for example, SonarQube).
  • Integrate RESTful APIs and manage complex application state using NgRx and RxJS.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including daily standups, sprint planning, estimation, and retrospectives.
  • Mentor junior developers through code walkthroughs, Angular best practices, and support for career development.
  • Evaluate and adopt new Angular capabilities, CI/CD improvements, and front-end tooling to optimize developer productivity and system performance.

Required Qualifications

  • Employer will accept a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, and one (1) year of experience in the job offered or in any occupation where the required experience was gained.
  • Design and develop modular, reusable, scalable front-end components using Angular, TypeScript, and RxJS for high-performance applications focused on maintainability and responsiveness.
  • Create responsive and accessible user interfaces using semantic HTML5, SCSS/SASS, and Angular Material with cross-browser compatibility and modern UI/UX principles.
  • Integrate and manage RESTful APIs using Angular HTTP Client and handle asynchronous operations with Observables for dynamic data binding and real-time communication.
  • Write and maintain end-to-end UI automation tests using Taiko and Gauge as part of CI/CD workflows to validate user-facing functionality and reduce regression issues.
  • Monitor and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GoCD, including build failures, environment-specific configurations, deployment triggers, and reliable rollback strategies.
  • Perform static code analysis and security scanning using SonarQube and Veracode to identify code smells and vulnerabilities and ensure secure development practices.
  • Develop unit and integration tests using Jasmine and Karma to validate Angular components and services.
  • Enforce consistent code style using ESLint and Prettier, resolve linting errors, and integrate pre-commit hooks for clean, maintainable code.
  • Use Git with Bitbucket as the remote repository manager for version control, feature branching, merge requests, and pull request reviews.
