As a Senior Software Engineer, you will lead software development efforts end-to-end: designing and implementing solutions, improving system observability, and ensuring enterprise-grade performance as applications scale globally. You will also mentor engineers through interactive sessions and pair programming, while collaborating with global teams to keep platforms integrated and functional.
Responsibilities
- Develop, support, and maintain robust, scalable cloud solutions that manage enterprise data with consistency and reliability.
- Help ensure systems remain reliable, scalable, and observable as the platform grows globally.
- Support the incident response process and participate in on-call coverage as needed.
- Own and maintain the platform by responding to alerts, outages, and customer-impacting events.
- Lead project planning by creating sequence diagrams, flowcharts, and task breakdowns to guide execution.
- Contribute as part of a software team to deliver working software within sprint cycles.
- Stay current with developments in engineering design, methods, and applications.
- Create and update documentation for designs and software implementations.
- Provide engineering assistance and troubleshooting for internal teams and external customers.
- Conduct code reviews and provide critical feedback aligned to enterprise development standards.
- Deliver mentorship through pair programming and interactive sessions to help upskill others.
- Work closely with global teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality across platforms.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a Bachelor’s degree (3+ years with a Master’s degree).
- Or an equivalent combination of education and experience writing commercialized software in a professional environment.
- Strong experience with .NET Core, C#, and Entity Framework.
- Proficiency writing efficient SQL for PostgreSQL and Microsoft SQL.
- Experience with major cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or equivalent.
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (such as Docker or Kubernetes).
- Proficiency with Git and familiarity with change tracking tools.
- Deep knowledge of monitoring, observability, and logging tools such as Datadog or Grafana.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code (such as Terraform).
- Strong understanding of REST and SOAP APIs, including integration with external APIs.
- Strong ability to debug and troubleshoot software and system issues.
- Well-developed problem analysis and problem-solving techniques.
- Team player with self-motivation and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, including defining appropriate approaches and solutions.
- Continued education and/or seeking or providing mentorship to further professional knowledge.

Compensation and Pay Transparency
The annual salary for this role is $105,750 - $141,000 plus any applicable bonus. Actual salaries vary based on skill, experience, and qualification for the role.
