Senior Software Engineer

ERP Sourcing LLC is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to own core systems within an AI-assisted cloud ecosystem, including high‑performance diagramming, real-time collaboration, and physics‑based modelling and simulation. This role helps architect the technical foundation of a product that redefines how engineers design and build hardware.

Overview

The Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for core components in our AI‑driven cloud platform. Key focus areas include scalable diagramming capabilities, real-time collaboration, and physics‑based modelling and simulation. The position contributes to establishing the architectural foundations of a product that transforms hardware design and fabrication workflows.

Responsibilities

• Architect application infrastructure, including the cloud ecosystem, AI copilot, and physics simulation backend
• Lead development of major features, covering architecture, implementation, deployment, and sustainment
• Collaborate with product teams to deliver capabilities that customers need
• Define and support technical standards and long‑term system architecture as the product and team scale

Requirements

• Deep expertise in at least one layer of the stack, such as frontend frameworks, real‑time collaboration, or AI systems
• Proficient with modern tools such as React, TypeScript, and Python
• Strong product intuition and ability to collaborate across disciplines in a high‑content, fast‑paced environment
• Startup experience, ideally founding engineer or co‑founder experience who has tackled large, ambiguous problems, distilled requirements, and shipped solutions independently
• Typescript & React: 3 years (Required)
• AWS or equivalent cloud infrastructure familiarity
• Experience at a hardware‑adjacent or software for hardware company (e.g., SpaceX, Boston Dynamics, Onshape, Tesla)

Education

• Engineering‑focused degree
• Degree from an engineering‑focused school (e.g., Georgia Tech, UMich, CMU) or hardware‑related (e.g., electrical engineering, mechanical engineering)

Compensation

Salary: USD 180,000 - 200,000 per year
