Job Description
Senior Software Developer responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining modeling and simulation software solutions, primarily in C++, across Windows and Linux, collaborating with engineers and scientists.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and debug software applications primarily in C++.
- Build and maintain modeling and simulation tools following industry best practices.
- Participate in architecture discussions and the design of new software features.
- Produce readable, well documented code with clear inline documentation.
- Collaborate effectively within a fast paced, agile team environment.
- Engage in code reviews and contribute to ongoing process improvements.
- Diagnose and resolve software defects to ensure reliability.
- Deploy and sustain applications on Windows and Linux platforms.
- Contribute to test planning and execute testing procedures.
- Stay current with evolving technologies and trends in software development.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional software development experience using C++.
- Strong background in modeling and simulation principles and techniques.
- Proficiency developing applications for both Windows and Linux environments.
- Solid understanding of object oriented programming concepts and design patterns.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git.
- Excellent problem solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
