Job Description
IDR, Inc. is offering a Senior Salesforce Developer opportunity in East Lansing, MI with onsite work supporting government-driven initiatives on the Salesforce platform. This role focuses on building and improving custom Salesforce solutions, with a strong emphasis on integrations and automation to meet state agency requirements. Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy custom Salesforce solutions using Salesforce development best practices.
- Build and maintain Apex including triggers, batch jobs, queueable jobs, and scheduled processes.
- Develop and enhance Lightning Web Components (LWC) to support modern user experiences.
- Design and implement integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, Platform Events, Named Credentials, and related technologies.
- Automate business processes using Salesforce Flows, Validation Rules, and Formula Fields.
Requirements
- 3-5+ years of hands-on Salesforce Platform Development experience (in the US).
- Prior experience supporting a State/Government project.
- Strong expertise with: Apex Development (Triggers, Batch Apex, Queueable Apex, Scheduled Apex); Lightning Web Components (LWC); SOQL/SOSL; Salesforce DX (SFDX); REST and SOAP API integrations; Platform Events; Named Credentials; Salesforce Security Model (Profiles, Permission Sets, Sharing Rules, OWD); Salesforce Flows and Process Automation; Git-based source control and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce governor limits and platform architecture.
- Experience translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
