Job Description

IDR, Inc. is offering a Senior Salesforce Developer opportunity in East Lansing, MI with onsite work supporting government-driven initiatives on the Salesforce platform. This role focuses on building and improving custom Salesforce solutions, with a strong emphasis on integrations and automation to meet state agency requirements. You’ll join an industry-leading team with support designed around your success, along with a competitive compensation and benefits package.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and deploy custom Salesforce solutions using Salesforce development best practices.
Build and maintain Apex including triggers, batch jobs, queueable jobs, and scheduled processes.
Develop and enhance Lightning Web Components (LWC) to support modern user experiences.
Design and implement integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, Platform Events, Named Credentials, and related technologies.
Automate business processes using Salesforce Flows, Validation Rules, and Formula Fields.

Requirements

3-5+ years of hands-on Salesforce Platform Development experience (in the US).
Prior experience supporting a State/Government project.
Strong expertise with: Apex Development (Triggers, Batch Apex, Queueable Apex, Scheduled Apex); Lightning Web Components (LWC); SOQL/SOSL; Salesforce DX (SFDX); REST and SOAP API integrations; Platform Events; Named Credentials; Salesforce Security Model (Profiles, Permission Sets, Sharing Rules, OWD); Salesforce Flows and Process Automation; Git-based source control and CI/CD pipelines.
Strong understanding of Salesforce governor limits and platform architecture.
Experience translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
