Senior Full Stack Shopify Developer

Senior Full Stack Shopify Developer in a hybrid role based in Cincinnati, OH, responsible for leading the development and optimization of Shopify sites for D2C and B2B brands at Process Group. The position offers a salary range of USD 115,000 to 140,000 per year.

Responsibilities

• Full stack Shopify development: design, build, and maintain custom Shopify themes and applications; implement back-end logic to optimize UX/UI, manage databases, integrate third-party services, and support order processing.
• Lead the development of the B2B wholesale site, with a planned launch on July 1.
• Oversee day-to-day optimization and promotion builds for the D2C Shopify storefront.
• Own technical execution for new business ventures across the brand portfolio.
• Collaborate with design, marketing, leadership, and other internal stakeholders to align technical work with business goals; lead sprint meetings, assign development tasks, and ensure accountability within the team.
• Monitor site performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure speed, stability, and scalability; apply full stack expertise to support third-party integrations across the stack.
• Engage in continuous learning to stay current with emerging tools and best practices, with emphasis on headless commerce, e-commerce APIs, and Shopify Plus enhancements.

Requirements

• Minimum five years of experience as a Full Stack Shopify Developer, not limited to front-end work.
• Strong expertise in Shopify, including Liquid templating language.
• Proficiency with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience with SQL databases, JSON, and Ruby.
• Experience working with APIs, Shopify Plus, and complex plugin or integration workflows.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and adaptability in a fast-changing environment.
• Experience assigning work and leading discussions in sprint or development meetings.
• Comfort interfacing with both business and technical teams.
• Experience with headless Shopify or custom app development.
• Background with high-growth e-commerce brands, particularly in beauty, fashion, or wellness.
• Experience with Shopify SEO and performance optimization.
• Prior leadership or mentorship of junior developers.
