Senior Business Systems Analyst – SharePoint Developer/Administrator

DAVTEQ INC is seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst to take a hands-on lead with SharePoint for a transportation agency program based in San Jose. This hybrid role emphasizes building and implementing SharePoint solutions, not only administering an existing environment. You will partner closely with business users to translate needs into working sites, workflows, and document management capabilities.

In this position, you will design SharePoint structures that support day-to-day operations, automate workflows to streamline business processes, and provide practical end-user support. Responsibilities also include maintaining permissions and performing ongoing environment upkeep, along with documenting configurations, workflows, and user procedures.

What you’ll do

• Design, build, and implement SharePoint sites, lists, libraries, and document management solutions
• Create, test, and maintain automated workflows using Power Automate (or comparable tools) to streamline business processes
• Gather requirements from business users and translate them into working SharePoint solutions
• Administer the SharePoint environment, including permissions, site structure, and ongoing maintenance
• Support end users day to day, including account access needs and password creation, reset, and retrieval
• Document SharePoint configurations, workflows, and user procedures

What you bring

• Proven hands-on experience in SharePoint development and implementation (not administration alone)
• Demonstrated experience creating and deploying workflows
• Strong SharePoint administration skills
• Experience supporting end users, including resolving access and password issues
• Strong requirements-gathering, documentation, and communication skills
• Ability to work on-site in San Jose at least 3 days per week

Compensation and benefits

Salary: USD 128,960 - 140,192 per year.
