Job Description
CACI is seeking a Senior Application Developer to lead an Agile team focused on delivering mission critical GEOINT applications for the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency. The role centers on designing and deploying web based capabilities, APIs, and geospatial services while mentoring developers, with the position based onsite in Denver, Colorado.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the end to end lifecycle of web applications built with Java and or Python, including design, development, testing, and deployment.
- Shape the architecture of features, APIs, and integrations across program services and external systems.
- Develop and sustain GIS enabled application capabilities and geospatial services.
- Promote code quality through reviews, unit testing, and secure coding standards.
- Troubleshoot complex issues and lead performance tuning across the application stack.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, architects, and cross functional teams to meet program increment commitments.
- Mentor mid level and junior developers and contribute to engineering standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of professional software development experience.
- Expert level in Java, Python, or both, with experience in modern web frameworks.
- Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs and service based architectures.
- Strong experience with relational and non-relational databases.
- Experience with CI/CD, Git based workflows, and automated testing.
- Security clearance TS/SCI with willingness to undergo a polygraph examination.

Pay range
The proposed salary range for this position is $75,200 to $158,100 per year.
