Senior Agentic Software Engineer

Arrivia, Inc. is seeking a Senior Agentic Software Engineer to steer the technical direction of AI agentic development across its travel platform. This onsite role in Scottsdale, AZ places you on the front lines of architecture and engineering practice, raising standards across multiple product teams while promoting responsible AI tooling.

Responsibilities

• Architect and drive the platform's design and implementation for features and services on a full-stack product team, serving as a technical leader for the travel platform.
• Drive agentic adoption by standardizing AI agent coding tools across engineering groups and establishing best practices, prompt libraries, and workflows to boost productivity across the organization.
• Set the quality bar by reviewing and validating AI-generated code for correctness, security, performance, and maintainability to elevate standards across teams.
• Modernize at scale by revitalizing aging services through refactoring, migration, and cloud-native distributed design.
• Strategize agentic workflows by defining scalable patterns and platforms that automate testing, documentation, code-review triage, and deployment checks.
• Architect MCP integrations to connect AI agents with internal tools, data, and platform services throughout the development lifecycle.
• Lead distributed systems initiatives, improving development and operations across cloud platforms within a distributed architecture.
• Protect member trust by collaborating with Risk and Security teams to safeguard privacy and sensitive data.
• Increase velocity by introducing processes that accelerate shipping, enable faster learning, and isolate impact, while helping establish and meet system SLOs.
• Mentor across teams by guiding engineers in AI-assisted development, prompt engineering, and agentic workflow design.

Requirements

• 8+ years of full-stack development and architectural experience building web applications and services.
• Expert proficiency using AI coding agents such as Claude Code, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot in professional workflows.
• Strong proficiency in two or more of TypeScript/JavaScript, Python, or C#/.NET.
• Deep experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React, Next.js, Vue, or Angular.
• Proven track record architecting and delivering cloud-native solutions on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Extensive experience with RESTful API design and microservices architecture.
• Deep understanding of the Model Context Protocol (MCP) and experience architecting MCP server ecosystems.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical designs, mentor engineers across teams, and raise engineering maturity.
• A formal CS degree is a plus, not a requirement; depth of engineering knowledge matters most.
