Job Description

This hybrid role in Aguadilla, PR provides a robust benefits package and a path to influence real-time embedded software used in navigation and timing solutions. The position focuses on architecture, design, and development of real-time embedded software, with technical leadership across the software lifecycle and production test software.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the architecture and development of complex real-time embedded software for navigation and timing solutions across military ground, airborne, and maritime platforms.
  • Drive technical excellence throughout the software engineering lifecycle, covering requirements, architecture, design, coding, integration, verification, and documentation.
  • Provide technical leadership to cross-functional software teams, promoting innovation, continuous improvement, and engineering rigor.
  • Serve as a senior technical authority for production test solution software, shaping strategies and ensuring robust, scalable, and maintainable test applications.
  • Translate hardware test requirements into modular, automated test software.
  • Develop and maintain production-grade test sequences, drivers, and data management capabilities.
  • Lead verification and validation of test software, ensuring alignment with program, quality, and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide troubleshooting, sustainment, and continuous improvement support for production test stations.
  • Ensure configuration control, versioning, and traceability of test software to meet production needs.
  • Guide teams to deliver software that fulfills customer expectations and certification standards, balancing functionality with regulatory compliance.
  • Participate in and lead Agile ceremonies, promoting transparency, technical rigor, and predictable delivery.
  • Collaborate with systems, hardware, and test engineering teams to ensure seamless hardware/software integration and high-reliability field performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or higher in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics (STEM) with at least 8 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • U.S. citizenship is required due to access restrictions on program information.
