ORACLE Developer

National Fuel Gas Company is hiring an Oracle Developer for the Information Technology team in Buffalo, NY; Erie, PA; or Dayton, OH (currently accepting candidates in all 3 locations).

Responsibilities

• Configure, develop, and support Oracle Fusion/Utilities applications across one or more functional areas, including Human Capital Management (HCM), Customer solutions (CCS), and Operations and field service platforms (WACS / OFS)
• Partner with functional business teams to analyze requirements and translate them into scalable Oracle Fusion/Utilities solutions
• Design, develop, and maintain Oracle integrations, extensions, reports, and data extracts as needed
• Support data conversion, validation, and reconciliation activities related to Oracle Fusion/Utilities modules
• Collaborate with data engineers and application architects to ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture and integration standards
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues to maintain system reliability and performance
• Support system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and post-implementation stabilization
• Document configurations, integrations, and technical designs to support long term maintainability
• Work with external vendors and implementation partners to support knowledge transfer and sustainable support models

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience supporting enterprise application development or functional systems analysis
• Hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion/Utilities Cloud or a comparable enterprise ERP platform
• Experience supporting configuration, extensions, and/or integrations for enterprise systems
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions

• Experience focusing on one or more areas:
  • HCM Focus: Oracle Fusion HCM modules (Core HR, Payroll, Talent, Benefits, Security)
  • Customer Focus: customer platforms, billing, CRM, or customer information systems integrated with ERP environments
  • Operations Focus: operational, asset management, or field service systems (work management, scheduling, operational finance)
• Experience supporting enterprise implementations or large platform transitions
• Experience working in regulated industries such as utilities, energy, or financial services
• Strong documentation and cross-functional communication skills

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary range: $80,000 - $105,000 per year
• Exempt positions may be eligible for an Annual Cash Bonus Plan
