ORACLE Developer

Oracle Developer in National Fuel Gas Company's IT department focuses on configuring, developing, and supporting Oracle Fusion/Utilities applications across HCM, CCS, and WACS/OFS, with collaboration, data, and integration responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Configure, develop, and support Oracle Fusion/Utilities applications across HCM, CCS, and WACS/OFS functional areas.
• Collaborate with functional business teams to analyze requirements and translate them into scalable Oracle Fusion/Utilities solutions.
• Design, develop, and maintain Oracle integrations, extensions, reports, and data extracts as needed.
• Support data conversion, validation, and reconciliation activities related to Oracle Fusion/Utilities modules.
• Partner with data engineers and application architects to ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture and integration standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues to ensure system reliability and performance.
• Support system testing, user acceptance testing, and post implementation stabilization.
• Document configurations, integrations, and technical designs to support long term maintainability.
• Work with external vendors and implementation partners to ensure knowledge transfer and sustainable support models.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience supporting enterprise application development or functional systems analysis.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion/Utilities Cloud or comparable enterprise ERP platforms.
• Experience supporting configuration, extensions, and/or integrations for enterprise systems.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Compensation

• Base salary: USD 80,000 - 105,000 per year
• Exempt position eligible for an Annual Cash Bonus Plan
• Pay range and compensation elements may change based on internal and external factors

Preferred Qualifications

• HCM Focus: Experience supporting Oracle Fusion HCM modules (Core HR, Payroll, Talent, Benefits, Security)
• Customer Focus: Experience supporting customer platforms, billing, CRM, or customer information systems integrated with ERP environments
• Operations Focus: Experience supporting operational, asset management, or field service systems (e.g., work management, scheduling, operational finance)
• Experience supporting enterprise implementations or large platform transitions
• Experience working in regulated industries such as utilities, energy, or financial services
• Strong documentation and cross functional communication skills
