Mid-Level Data Analyst/Developer Engineer
Job Description
JANSON is expanding its analytics team with a mid-level Data Analyst/Developer Engineer to drive dashboards, analytics prototyping, and training activities in a hybrid setup based in Fort Riley, Kansas. This role involves delivering operational dashboards, assisting with predictive analytics experiments, and guiding analysts and staff under senior supervision.
Responsibilities
- Design and sustain dashboards used for daily operations
- Support the delivery of predictive analytics prototypes
- Assist with ORSA, analyst, and staff training programs
- Create reusable analytics modules and develop instructional materials
- Help run Lunch & Learn sessions and analytics adoption initiatives
- Assist in delivering Army Vantage training (in-person and virtual) for analysts, staff, and ORSA participants
- Help develop and refine training materials, exercises, and hands-on labs
- Serve as a breakout session instructor or facilitator during trainings
- Configure and maintain training‑ready dashboards, datasets, and workflows for instructional use
- Support Lunch & Learn events with demonstrations of existing dashboards and analytics products
- Provide on-site and post-training support to students during and after sessions
- Help document standard operating procedures, analytics patterns, and training artifacts
- Incorporate training feedback to iteratively improve analytics products and instructional materials
- Model best practices for Army Vantage permissions, data classification, and reuse during training demonstrations
Requirements
- Active Secret security clearance or eligibility to obtain and maintain
- Ability to operate in classified and unclassified environments, including NIPRNet systems
- Strong written and verbal communication for interaction with military and civilian personnel
- Willingness to travel up to 10% for in-person training and operational support
- Proven ability to quickly learn new tools, workflows, and operational contexts
- Team‑oriented and able to collaborate with a diverse mix of Army and contractor personnel
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience

Compensation
- $150,000.00 - $170,000.00 per year

Hybrid remote in Fort Riley, KS, with on-site work as needed
