Mid-Level Applications Developer

Responsibilities

• Apply expertise in .NET Core, C#, VB.NET and SQL to design, build, and maintain scalable, secure software that meets business needs and adheres to industry standards.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to gather requirements and craft effective solutions.
• Develop and sustain high quality NET Core and ASP.NET MVC applications, including new features, bug fixes, and performance optimization while following coding standards.
• Provide lifecycle support for applications and ensure compliance with baseline policies, procedures, and data standards.
• Design, code, test, and debug new software or enhancements to existing software.
• Create comprehensive test plans and recommend corrective actions.
• Perform performance monitoring, incident and problem management, change and configuration management, and service level performance tracking.
• Address customer complaints with software solutions and consider improvement suggestions and enhancements.
• Update existing systems and procedures to fix deficiencies and improve data handling, conversion, input/output requirements, and storage.
• Analyze system and audit logs to identify potential issues.
• Collaborate with other developers using source control tools such as Git, CVS, or SVN.
• Maintain the SOP library for applications development and assist in creating software user manuals and documentation.
• Assist software personnel with project related tasks and related requirements.
• Provide on the job training to new and existing staff members as a computer resource.
• On-call duties as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field of study
• Minimum of 4 years developing applications in C# or another .NET language, or equivalent experience
• Experience with software development projects, including planning, thorough testing, and delivering high quality, scalable applications
• Experience with SQL scripting and Microsoft Windows
