Job Description

Join PwC Managed Services as an Experienced Associate Data Engineer in Charlotte, onsite. This role centers on delivering data driven solutions, building data pipelines, and providing strategic analytics for clients within the Data & Analytics practice. The position offers a competitive salary range of USD 63,000 to 140,000 per year and is based onsite in Charlotte, NC, requiring a Bachelor's degree and at least 1 year of experience.

Responsibilities

  • Design and deploy data driven solutions that enhance business performance and competitive positioning, covering data engineering and ETL processes.
  • Apply advanced analytics techniques to generate strategic insights that inform client decisions, with a focus on SQL optimization.
  • Build and maintain data pipelines to enable efficient data collection and analysis using DataStage.
  • Leverage business intelligence tools including Oracle BI and QlikView to deliver reports and dashboards, drawing on DB2 and SQL Server data.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to gather and analyze data from multiple sources to identify patterns and trends using star schemas and dimensional modeling.
  • Apply data architecture development skills to design and maintain robust database systems, including Snowflake modeling.
  • Participate in ongoing process improvements to elevate data quality and integrity.
  • Support client engagements by listening to and addressing diverse perspectives and needs within regulated environments.
  • Contribute to business case development and market strategy formation through data analysis and interpretation.
  • Thrive in a fast paced setting, taking ownership of tasks to consistently deliver high quality results, with experience in job scheduling and UNIX.
