Managed Services - Data Engineer - Experienced Associate

PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) is seeking an Experienced Associate Data Engineer to join its Managed Services team, supporting client engagements within the Data & Analytics practice. This onsite role in Miami, Florida centers on crafting data-driven solutions, building robust pipelines, and delivering analytics that inform strategic decisions. The compensation range for this position is USD 63,000 to 140,000 per year.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement data-driven solutions to improve business performance and create a competitive edge, covering data engineering and ETL tasks
• Apply advanced analytics techniques to generate strategic insights that guide client decisions, with a focus on SQL optimization
• Build and maintain data pipelines to support efficient data collection and analysis, utilizing DataStage
• Leverage business intelligence tools such as Oracle Business Intelligence and QlikView to produce comprehensive reports and dashboards, drawing on data from DB2 and SQL Server
• Collaborate with colleagues to collect and analyze data from multiple sources, identifying patterns and trends using star schemas and dimensional modeling
• Use data architecture skills to design and maintain robust database management systems, including snowflake modeling
• Engage in ongoing process improvement to elevate data quality and integrity
• Support client engagements by listening to diverse perspectives and addressing needs in regulated environments
• Contribute to developing business cases and market development strategies through data analysis and interpretation
• Adapt to a fast-paced environment and take ownership of tasks to consistently deliver quality work, including aspects like job scheduling and UNIX environments
