Job Description
PwC is seeking an Experienced Associate for Managed Services - Data Engineer in Grand Rapids, MI (onsite); salary range USD 63,000 to 140,000 per year; a Bachelor's degree is required with a minimum of 1 year of experience.
Responsibilities
- Design and deploy data driven solutions to improve business performance and strengthen competitive position through data engineering and ETL
- Apply advanced analytics to deliver strategic insights and support data informed decision making for clients, including SQL optimization
- Build and maintain robust data pipelines to enable efficient data collection and analysis using DataStage
- Create reports and dashboards with BI tools such as Oracle Business Intelligence and QlikView, leveraging DB2 and SQL Server for data access
- Collaborate with team members to gather and analyze data from multiple sources to identify patterns and trends using star schemas and dimensional modeling
- Apply data architecture development skills to design and maintain scalable database management systems, including snowflake modeling
- Pursue continuous process improvements to enhance data quality and integrity
- Support client engagements by listening to diverse perspectives and addressing needs in regulated environments
- Contribute to the creation of business cases and market development strategies through data analysis and interpretation
- Adapt to a fast paced environment and take ownership of tasks to consistently deliver high quality work, with experience in job scheduling and UNIX
