Job Description

Peak Performers is seeking a Junior / Intermediate Application Developer to support a 9-month, fully onsite project in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. This role focuses on converting legacy fillable PDF inspection forms into responsive, interactive web forms and integrating form logic with database storage and document compilation.

Project Overview

The assignment involves transforming approximately 70 existing fillable PDF inspection documents into clean HTML/CSS forms for field inspectors. Collected user input will be handled with JavaScript, persisted to a SQL database, and then reconverted into standardized PDF documents using Jinja-based document compilation.

Responsibilities

  • Convert approximately 70 existing fillable PDF inspection documents into clean, responsive, interactive HTML/CSS forms for field inspectors.
  • Develop custom JavaScript to manage form logic, handle user inputs, and save collected data directly into a SQL database.
  • Use Jinja templates and document compiling tools to dynamically convert user inputs back into standardized PDF documents.
  • Support senior agency developers with general JavaScript maintenance, bug fixes, and feature enhancements to help maintain the application migration schedule.
  • Complete basic SQL querying and data mapping tasks that support backend data storage and retrieval.

Required Experience

  • Beginner to intermediate experience working with JavaScript, SQL (T-SQL or general ANSI SQL), HTML, and CSS.
  • Exposure to Python, Jinja templating, Git/GitHub, or Docker containers.
  • Strong attention to detail to accurately translate legacy PDF form logic into modern web interfaces.
  • Ability to work full-time onsite in Oklahoma City, Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm, with flex schedule options.
  • Work authorization that does not require sponsorship for a visa now or in the future.

Contract Details

  • Rate: $32.00 to $38.00 per hour (W-2), depending on experience.

  • Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm, with flex options available.
