Jr - Mid iOS Mobile Developer
Job Description
Adidev Technologies Inc is seeking a junior to mid-level mobile developer to help design, build, and maintain large-scale client applications. This role supports both iOS and Android development, with an onsite base in Austin, TX. Client assignments require relocation for engagements that typically run from 6 to 18 months, with possible extensions.
Role focus
You will work across the mobile stack, taking ownership of features end-to-end and helping ensure applications meet expectations for performance, responsiveness, and quality. The team environment emphasizes collaboration, clear client communication, and consistent delivery against milestones.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and improve applications for either the iOS or Android platform.
- Support application performance, quality, and responsiveness.
- Collaborate with a team to define, design, and implement new features.
- Find and resolve bottlenecks, fix bugs, and maintain code quality.
- Communicate effectively with clients and maintain positive client rapport.
- Gather requirements and provide accurate, realistic project milestones and timelines for completion.
- Complete coding tests or challenges as required.
- Maintain consistent communication through phone, text, and email.
- Recommend improvements to existing applications.
- Deliver projects on time and communicate any changes promptly.
Requirements
- 1 to 2 years of experience (minimum 1 years).
- Relocation readiness to new cities or states based on client assignments, typically 6 to 18 months with possible extensions.
- Proficiency in Swift and Objective-C (at least 1 year experience).
- Experience with iOS frameworks including Core Data, Coco Touch, Combine, and Core Animation.
- Familiarity with design patterns such as MVC and Singleton.
- At least one published application on the Play Store.
- Strong understanding of offline storage, threading, and performance optimization.
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs for connecting iOS apps to back-end services.
- Experience integrating third-party APIs such as Facebook and Dropbox.
- Familiarity with UI/UX standards and Apple’s design principles.
- Knowledge of C-based libraries preferred.
- Experience with performance and memory tuning tools.
- Proficiency with code versioning tools such as Git.
- Work ethic and self-leadership skills.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication ability.
- A portfolio with impactful application releases is a significant advantage.
