Job Description

Join Easter Seals Superior California in Sacramento as a full-time Job Developer. This on-site role centers on building strong employer partnerships, identifying placement opportunities, and supporting adults with disabilities on the path to competitive integrated employment. Responsibilities

  • Develop and nurture relationships with employers across diverse sectors
  • Pair job seekers with roles that fit their interests and capabilities
  • Coordinate job trials, internships, and informational conversations with employers
  • Advocate for workplace accommodations and educate employers on disability inclusion
  • Monitor outreach activity, interviews, placements, and retention metrics
  • Participate in job fairs, community events, and employer advisory groups

Requirements

  • 2+ years in job development, recruiting, or workforce development
  • Experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
  • Familiarity with DOR, Regional Center, or Ticket to Work programs a plus
  • Reliable transportation required; travel within the community is essential

30/60/90 Day Expectations

  • Complete onboarding and required trainings (Person-Centered Thinking, Goal Development, etc.)
  • Begin shadowing job discovery and employer outreach activities
  • Build rapport with individuals served and internal team members
  • Independently conduct employer outreach and job matching
  • Coordinate job trials and support initial placements
  • Attend community events and represent Easter Seals Enterprises professionally
  • Meet monthly benchmarks for employer contacts, interviews, and new hires
  • Ensure CIE documentation compliance and individual satisfaction
  • Provide updates on job retention and employment outcomes
