Golang Developer
Job Description
IDR, Inc. is seeking a Golang Developer to join a prominent client engagement in Malvern, PA on site. The role centers on building scalable microservices, delivering RESTful APIs, and deploying applications in AWS within a collaborative development environment. The position offers a competitive USD 55 per hour and requires at least 1 year of professional Golang experience.
Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance scalable microservices using Golang, contributing to robust and maintainable architectures.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to design and implement RESTful APIs that meet business and performance requirements.
- Operate within AWS environments, leveraging services such as Lambda, ECS, and DynamoDB to support deployments.
- Advance containerization and orchestration efforts with Docker and Kubernetes to enable dynamic and scalable deployments.
- Contribute to DevOps practices, including the creation and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines, logging, and monitoring capabilities.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of professional Golang development experience.
- Experience with AWS services including Lambda, ECS, S3, DynamoDB, API Gateway, and IAM.
- Solid understanding of microservices architectures and RESTful API design principles.
- Experience with database technologies such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or DynamoDB.
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
