AWS Integration Developer

Deloitte is seeking an AWS Integration Developer (Center Delivery Consultant) to develop and support the integration layer that connects a client importer onboarding platform to AWS services and external systems. This role includes designing REST/API and event-driven flows supporting mobile identity verification, Salesforce, Paravision biometrics, ATS/NVC vetting, and the ACE Portal.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain the integration layer between the mobile application and AWS backend services.
• Connect Salesforce to ATS/NVC to support person-level vetting hand-off and exchange of results.
• Integrate Paravision biometric and liveness checks into the identity verification workflow.
• Implement entity mapping logic to associate an applicant to an existing or new IOR.
• Integrate ACE Portal account creation and support the post-access 5106 workflow.
• Support Release 1 and Release 2 integration work in parallel, including production support for existing live integrations.
• Design, build, and maintain REST/API integrations between AWS services, Salesforce, and external systems including ATS/NVC, ACE, and Paravision.
• Develop event-driven integration flows using services such as Lambda, API Gateway, Iprove, and SQS/SNS.
• Develop and maintain Salesforce-side integration components, including Apex, Connected Apps, or middleware such as MuleSoft.
• Implement data mapping and transformation logic between systems with differing schemas.
• Write automated tests for integration endpoints and data flows.
• Document data flows and integration points to support the ATO process.
• Troubleshoot integration failures across the full chain, from the mobile app to ACE.
• Collaborate with the cloud infrastructure engineer, application developers, and CBP stakeholders to keep integrations aligned with policy and security requirements.

• Active Top Secret clearance.
• 3+ years of experience building production integrations on AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, Step Functions, Event Bridge, SQS/SNS).
• 3+ years of experience with REST/API design and implementation.
• 3+ years of experience integrating with Salesforce (Apex, Connected Apps, or an iPaaS tool).
• 3+ years of experience integrating third-party or legacy government systems, including secure handling of PII and biometric data in transit and at rest.
• 3+ years of experience with CI/CD and automated testing for integration code.
• Reside a commutable distance to a Deloitte office in Gilbert, AZ, Mechanicsburg, PA, or Lake Mary, FL.
• Able to travel up to 10%.
• 2+ years of experience integrating biometric or identity-verification vendor APIs (for example, facial recognition or liveness services).
• 2+ years of experience with MuleSoft or similar integration platforms.
• 2+ years of experience with CBP, DHS, or other federal law-enforcement systems.
• Salesforce certification (Platform Developer I/II or Integration Architect).
