GIS Applications Developer – ArcGIS Enterprise / Portal

CyOak Consulting Group is seeking a GIS Systems, Software, and Applications Developer to support the development, integration, and sustainment of enterprise geospatial applications within the ESRI ArcGIS Enterprise and Portal ecosystem. This onsite role based in Quantico, Virginia offers a salary between USD 100,000 and 120,000 per year.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain GIS applications and web based geospatial tools
• Support administration and enhancement of ArcGIS Enterprise / Portal environments
• Develop and maintain applications using ArcGIS APIs, SDKs, and REST services
• Integrate GIS services with enterprise systems and data sources
• Develop automation scripts and workflows using Python
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across GIS applications, services, and user workflows
• Support system updates, enhancements, and deployment activities
• Collaborate with technical teams and end users to improve functionality and performance
• Create and maintain technical documentation and development artifacts

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience working with GIS applications
• Minimum 4 years of consistent familiarity with ESRI software
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
• Experience with ArcGIS Enterprise / Portal
• Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
• Experience working with REST APIs and system integrations
• Strong understanding of GIS systems, software, and application development
• CompTIA Security+ certification (required for elevated access roles)

• Experience supporting DoD, Intelligence Community, or classified environments
• Active TS/SCI clearance or eligibility preferred

Work Environment

• On-site support required (Quantico, VA)
• Work performed within secure environments (no telework for classified systems)
• Standard business hours with occasional support outside normal hours as needed
