Founding Developer Community GTM Lead
Job Description
OmniNode.ai is hiring a Founding Developer Community GTM Lead to own the company’s developer-facing presence and help launch a new tester program. This is a hands-on role that combines community leadership with practical developer enablement, including demos, tutorials, and feedback-driven iteration.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the developer community presence across GitHub, Discord, Reddit, X, and LinkedIn.
- Run the Founding Nodes tester program by onboarding testers, removing blockers, and converting their feedback into actionable tickets for the engineering team.
- Build demos, tutorials, sample projects, and short videos that demonstrate OmniNode completing real work.
- Engage developers where conversations already happen around AI agents, Claude Code, local models, and inference costs, providing useful guidance.
- Grow contributors, not only followers: write strong good first issues, review community pull requests with engineering, and make contributing straightforward.
- Plan and execute launches with the founders.
- Track and report key signals including active users, retained testers, contributors, stars, and signup source.
Required Qualifications
- A demonstrated record of growing a developer community around an open source project, including numbers and links.
- Hands-on coding experience: comfortable using a terminal, git, and building in Python or TypeScript. You can read pull requests, create working examples, and debug setup scripts.
- Experience using AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, or similar in your own workflow.
- Clear, developer-trustworthy writing with no hype and no low-quality “AI slop”.
- A public presence developers already recognize, such as posts, talks, repositories, or threads.
- Application must include your Reddit handle and GitHub handle.
- Comfort operating in ambiguity and taking ownership of outcomes on a small team.
Technologies
GitHub, Discord, Reddit, X, LinkedIn, Python, TypeScript, git, Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, Ollama, LM Studio
Compensation and Location
- Salary: USD 78,000 - 125,000 per year
- Work Location: Remote
Bonus Considerations
- Experience in GTM, DevRel, or community at a developer-focused AI startup.
- Experience with local models (Ollama, LM Studio) or LLM routing and cost tooling.
- Experience running a Discord or forum with genuine daily activity.
How to Apply
Submit three items:
- A link to a community or open source project you grew, including before and after numbers.
- Your Reddit and GitHub profiles.
- Finalists will install OmniNode and record a short walkthrough of their first delegation, including where the product confuses you. That feedback is part of the work.
