Job Description
ERP / IT Developer role in Livonia, MI onsite at Leapers Inc, focusing on maintaining, customizing, and expanding systems that support manufacturing, warehouse, and business operations.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and enhance warehouse management systems built with VB.NET and C#
- Create customizations and extensions for the Epicor ERP system
- Develop and sustain REST API integrations among ERP, WMS, Magento Commerce, and HubSpot platforms
- Debug issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement fixes
- Build custom reports, dashboards, and data extraction tools to support operations
- Design automation solutions to streamline workflows and reduce manual tasks
- Write clean, maintainable code following best practices and standards
- Conduct system testing, quality assurance, and documentation
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
- Assist with upgrades, patches, and deployment of new features
- Provide technical support and end-user training as needed
- Stay current with emerging technologies and propose improvements to systems
Requirements
- 3-5 years of software development and system integration experience
- Strong proficiency in VB.NET, C#, and the .NET Framework
- Experience with warehouse management system development and maintenance
- Working knowledge of Epicor ERP or similar ERP platforms
- Experience building and consuming REST APIs
- Solid debugging and troubleshooting skills
- Experience with SQL Server and complex SQL queries
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent work experience
- Experience with front-end frameworks such as React, Next.js, Vue/Nuxt, and Tailwind CSS
- Familiarity with GraphQL for API development
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and integration technologies (Mule, Azure Integration Services)
- Knowledge of AI agent platforms and workflow automation tools such as n8n, Make, Claude Cursor, and Antigravity
- Experience with Git
- Familiarity with manufacturing or distribution operations
