Job Description
Own and evolve a proprietary .NET/SQL Server order entry and operations platform while building internal systems for growth and AI-assisted manufacturing workflows.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain internal applications using C#, ASP.NET Core, and Blazor
- Take ownership of Proposal Generation and Order Entry systems within OE2
- Maintain stability and availability with a 99.9% uptime target
- Build new modules and integrations as the roadmap evolves
- Use AI-assisted development tools, including GitHub Copilot
- Build, publish, and deploy applications to IIS and Azure environments
- Configure IIS app pools and bindings, including SSL and code signing
- Maintain stable staging and production environments
- Coordinate with outsourced IT partners for server escalations
- Provide Tier 1/2 helpdesk support for internal users
- Document recurring fixes and support office and shop staff
- Learn stair-manufacturing workflows and the full order lifecycle end to end
- Understand how proposals, orders, production, and billing connect
- Identify, scope, and help prioritize system improvements
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with C# and .NET
- Understanding of web applications and SQL Server
- Front-end fundamentals: HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Azure DevOps, and source control using Git (including Azure Repos)
- Familiarity with SharePoint
- Experience with Power Automate and/or Power BI
- Experience building internal portals, dashboards, or estimating tools
- Interest in learning Blazor, IIS, and deployment workflows
- Enthusiasm for AI tooling and applying it to real business problems
- Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
- Curiosity about manufacturing and fabrication workflows
- Ability to work onsite in Pacific, MO (St. Louis metro area)

- AI-assisted estimating to generate scoped estimates from historical data and job specifications
- Full MRP integration connecting materials requirements planning to the job pipeline, inventory, and purchasing
- Automated purchasing module to reduce manual, tribal-knowledge-dependent procurement
- Production scheduling tools covering shop capacity, CNC time, crew, and delivery coordination
- Positioning OE2 as a true internal ERP from estimate through install and billing in one system
30 / 60 / 90 Day Expectations
- 30 Days: Learn the environment, observe workflows, and complete small tasks alongside the current developer
- 60 Days: Understand core OE2 architecture, deploy with guidance, and handle most support tasks independently
- 90 Days: Own core systems, deploy independently, and begin participating in roadmap planning and new module development
