ERP Application Developer
Job Description
The UCSF ERP Application Developer role focuses on designing, building, and enhancing enterprise ERP components, integrations, and reporting.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and refine components, integrations, and reporting within UCSF’s enterprise ERP landscape.
- Develop technical solutions to support core ERP modules.
- Collaborate with functional and business teams to troubleshoot issues, streamline processes, and adjust system configurations.
- Operate in large scale ERP environments with emphasis on system integrations, reporting tools, middleware technologies, and database development.
- Deliver ERP enhancements, manage enterprise integrations including banking and supply chain interfaces, and ensure solutions meet institutional standards for performance, reliability, and security.
- Work with stakeholders to estimate development effort, resolve technical issues, and assist ERP upgrades and deployments across the organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field.
- 5 to 7 years of hands-on ERP technical experience supporting enterprise-wide ERP applications.
- 5 to 7 years designing, developing, testing, modifying, implementing, and deploying ERP solutions at enterprise scale.
- Expert knowledge of ERP Cloud reporting tools.
- Experience with ERP bank integrations, third-party supply chain integrations, and cloud integration patterns aligned with enterprise standards.
- Strong experience writing advanced SQL and PL/SQL queries.
- Working knowledge of Oracle Database.
- Familiarity with AIX, Linux, and Windows operating systems.
- Experience with middleware integrations and code libraries/open-source frameworks.
- Ability to estimate development effort, triage issues, and resolve assignments while managing competing priorities.
- Strong analytical and complex problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively while meeting deadlines.

Work Schedule
- Onsite presence required on a rotating or alternative basis as determined by management, with occasional attendance at campus events.
Compensation and Location
- Salary: USD 132,000 – 190,000 per year
- Location: San Francisco, CA 94103, onsite
- Commute: Ability to commute to the San Francisco campus as required
