Job Description
Integration Innovation, Inc. (i3) supports a DoD customer by building command and control (C2) and autonomy software for uncrewed platforms. In this onsite entry-level role in Huntsville, AL, you will help deliver capabilities through Agile small, incremental iterations, with opportunities to work on flight-critical software and a web-based UI for autonomously tasking UxS platforms.
What you’ll do
- Collaborate with an Agile software development team delivering value to a DoD customer in small, incremental iterations.
- Follow pre-defined software safety practices to develop flight critical software, including software architecture reviews, documentation updates, and comprehensive testing of new capabilities.
- Develop software designs using best practices and object-oriented methodologies.
- Create automated unit and integration level tests to support reliable feature delivery.
- Apply configuration management practices for proper code maintenance, merging, and configuration management.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What we’re looking for
- U.S. Citizenship required.
- 0-3 years of professional experience required.
- A Bachelor of Science degree (or advanced degree) from an accredited college (ABET preferred) in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or the hard sciences.
- Ability to develop software designs using best practices and object-oriented methodologies.
- Ability to develop automated unit and integration level tests.
- Routine collaboration with team members to develop system capabilities.
- Familiarity with configuration management practices, including code maintenance, merging, and configuration management.
- Team player mindset with qualities such as creativity, adaptability, and motivation to learn.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.
Tech stack you may work with

Preferred skills
- Experience with C#/.NET, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Experience with React.JS.
- Experience with Docker and microservices.
- Understanding of Agile software development, ideally Extreme Programming (XP).
- Familiarity with Git for source control and configuration management.
- Linux experience is a plus.
- Web development experience.
- Familiarity with drones and/or RC planes, boats, or ground vehicles.
Location, schedule, and travel
- Onsite in Huntsville, AL (in office).
- CONUS travel required: less than 10%.
- Regular i3 hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday-Friday, with additional hours occasionally; regular and punctual attendance is required.
