Data Integration Developer

Role Overview

New Resources Consulting is seeking a Data Integration Developer to support the client’s Data Team across multiple projects in different departments. The role starts ASAP and is a contract-to-hire arrangement after 3 to 6 months. This position follows a hybrid model with two on-site days per week in Milwaukee, WI.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Data Team on projects spanning multiple departments
• Develop and maintain ETL processes using SQL Server and SSIS
• Participate in data modeling activities and data quality initiatives
• Apply data integration concepts and strategies including ETL, EL-T, Data Warehousing, and event-based processing
• Engage in data mapping, profiling, relational data modeling, and dimensional data modeling
• Utilize BI tools such as Alteryx, Microsoft Power BI, SSRS, and SSAS

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Data Integration or Business Intelligence in a complex environment, with hands-on work using SSIS
• Proficient in data integration and business intelligence concepts and tools
• Database: SQL Server
• Data Management and Quality: data mapping, data profiling, relational data modeling, and dimensional data modeling
• Knowledge of BI tools such as Alteryx, Microsoft Power BI, SSRS, and SSAS
• Analytical thinker who is comfortable diving into complex code and data to troubleshoot issues
• Creative problem solver with a focus on automation
• Effective communicator and strong team collaborator
• SQL: 1 year (Preferred)
• Data Integration: 1 year (Preferred)
