Data Integration Developer

New Resources Consulting invites experienced data professionals to join as a Data Integration Developer in Milwaukee, WI, operating in a hybrid on-site setup. This contract-to-hire role centers on ETL, data modeling, and data quality using SQL Server and SSIS, supported by a collaborative Data Team that serves multiple departments. The position offers a competitive hourly rate of USD 60 - 70 per hour and a clear path to permanent placement if the fit remains strong.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the client's Data Team across multiple departments on a variety of projects, ensuring data integration aligns with business needs and timelines.
• Work within the Microsoft data stack, focusing on SQL Server and SSIS to design and implement robust data workflows.
• Lead ETL efforts while contributing to data modeling and data quality initiatives to maintain accurate and scalable data assets.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Data Integration or Business Intelligence in a complex environment, with hands-on SSIS work.
• Proficient in data integration and Business Intelligence concepts and practices.
• Understanding of data integration concepts and strategies: ETL, EL-T, Data Warehousing, and event-based processing.
• Experience with data integration tools, specifically SSIS.
• Database expertise in SQL Server.
• Data management and quality capabilities including data mapping, data profiling, relational data modeling, and dimensional data modeling.
• Knowledge of BI tools such as Alteryx, Microsoft Power BI, SSRS, and SSAS.
• Analytical mindset capable of troubleshooting complex code and data scenarios.
• Creative problem solver with a focus on automation.
• Effective communicator who enjoys collaborating in a team-oriented environment.
