Job Description
Cloud Software Engineer for an AI/ML project with Top Secret/SCI w/ Poly clearance in Laurel, MD (onsite); salary range USD 104,000 to 166,000 per year.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to next generation cyber security and AI/ML capabilities hosted on large scale compute clusters and AWS Cloud infrastructure.
- Conduct cloud software research, development, and engineering activities.
- Analyze requirements.
- Develop software.
- Install software components.
- Integrate software with systems.
- Evaluate software and systems.
- Enhance capabilities and codebase.
- Sustain software operations.
- Test software and components.
- Validate results and performance.
- Diagnose issues and provide resolution.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field; equivalent to two years of experience.
- Two plus years of directly related software development/engineering experience, including requirements analysis, development, installation, integration, evaluation, enhancement, maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with open source NoSQL products such as HBase, Accumulo, or BigTable for highly distributed, massively parallel computation.
- At least one year of software development experience with high level languages such as Java, C, or C++.
- Two plus years of experience in software integration and software testing, including creating and implementing test plans and test scripts.
- Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
