Job Description

Cloud Software Engineer for an AI/ML project with Top Secret/SCI w/ Poly clearance in Laurel, MD (onsite); salary range USD 104,000 to 166,000 per year.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to next generation cyber security and AI/ML capabilities hosted on large scale compute clusters and AWS Cloud infrastructure.
  • Conduct cloud software research, development, and engineering activities.
  • Analyze requirements.
  • Develop software.
  • Install software components.
  • Integrate software with systems.
  • Evaluate software and systems.
  • Enhance capabilities and codebase.
  • Sustain software operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field; equivalent to two years of experience.
  • Two plus years of directly related software development/engineering experience, including requirements analysis, development, installation, integration, evaluation, enhancement, maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with open source NoSQL products such as HBase, Accumulo, or BigTable for highly distributed, massively parallel computation.
  • At least one year of software development experience with high level languages such as Java, C, or C++.
  • Two plus years of experience in software integration and software testing, including creating and implementing test plans and test scripts.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
