Backend Node.js Developer

Glint Tech Solutions LLC seeks an experienced Backend Node.js Developer to design scalable backend services and modern APIs for large-scale retail platforms, leveraging strong Rust and Node.js expertise in an onsite role in Sunnyvale, CA.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Backend Node.js Developer with robust Rust expertise to join the engineering team. This role centers on delivering high-performance backend services, scalable distributed systems, and modern APIs that support large-scale retail and eCommerce platforms. The ideal candidate possesses deep hands-on experience with Rust and Node.js and has a history of delivering production-grade, highly available applications.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement scalable backend services using Rust and Node.js
• Build high-performance APIs, microservices, and distributed architectures
• Optimize performance, memory usage, and overall reliability
• Develop secure RESTful APIs and backend integrations
• Collaborate with product managers, frontend developers, QA, and DevOps teams
• Contribute to architecture discussions, code reviews, and technical design
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement durable, long-term solutions
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following engineering best practices

Requirements

• Extensive backend development experience with Rust (required)
• Proficiency with Node.js and modern JavaScript/TypeScript
• Experience designing REST APIs and microservices
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and backend architecture
• Experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Proficiency with Git and CI/CD pipelines
• Strong debugging, performance tuning, and problem-solving abilities
