Application Developer - Mid
Job Description
Mid-level Application Developer role with CACI in Denver, CO onsite, supporting NGA GEOINT web applications on a cloud-native Agile team using Java and/or Python.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain web application features using Java and/or Python
- Implement and consume RESTful APIs and service integrations
- Develop and enhance GIS enabled application capabilities and services
- Work with relational and non-relational databases to manage structured and unstructured data
- Participate in code reviews, unit testing, debugging, and integration activities
- Apply secure coding practices throughout the development lifecycle
- Deliver within sprint cycles as part of a cross functional Agile team
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline (equivalent experience accepted)
- 4+ years of professional software development experience
- Proficiency developing in Java, Python, or both
- Experience with modern web application frameworks and development practices
- Working knowledge of relational databases and data modeling
- Familiarity with Git based workflows and Agile development practices
- Security clearance TS/SCI with willingness to undergo polygraph examination

Pay range
Proposed salary range: $63,300 - $129,700 per year. Final compensation depends on factors including geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. This position is onsite in Denver, CO, and the range shown reflects the national average for the role.
