Job Description

Android Developer opportunity in Houston, TX offering a hybrid, long-term contract focused on Java and Kotlin Android app development and Android SDK integration.

Responsibilities

  • Develop Android applications using Java and Kotlin with a strong emphasis on quality and maintainability.
  • Apply knowledge of the Android SDK, including UI design principles, layout constraints, and material design guidelines.
  • Integrate RESTful APIs and web services into Android applications to enable seamless data exchange.
  • Collaborate using Git for version control and code management within a team environment.
  • Troubleshoot and debug Android apps across multiple devices and OS versions to ensure stable releases.

Requirements

  • Hybrid role based in Houston, TX with 1 day onsite and 4 days remote.
  • Long term contract engagement.
  • US citizens and Green Card holders only.
  • Pay rate of $40 per hour on W2.
