Job Description
Based in Irving, Texas, Christus Health is seeking an Analytics Developer I to translate data into actionable insights that inform business decisions. The role focuses on constructing BI visualizations and reports in collaboration with business subject matter experts, validating data for accuracy, and supporting automation initiatives through RPA workflows and low-code web applications to streamline essential business processes.
Responsibilities
- Meet expectations of the OneCHRISTUS leadership competencies, including Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders.
- BI Report Development: contribute to building BI reports and dashboards in BI tools, ensuring quality and accuracy.
- Data Analysis and Validation: perform basic data analysis and validation using SQL and Excel to uphold report integrity.
- Low-Code Web App Development: support web application development using low-code platforms under guidance from senior developers.
- RPA Workflow Development: assist in implementing RPA workflows to automate repetitive business processes.
- Business Collaboration: work with business subject matter experts to understand problems and tailor solutions to improve processes.
- Team Collaboration: collaborate with data architecture and engineering teammates to support data modeling and process automation.
- Technical Expertise: apply basic experience in Analytics Applications, including report development and data validation; some exposure to RPA and low-code development is helpful.
- SQL Proficiency: apply fundamental SQL programming skills with a focus on data integrity and validation.
- Performance Optimization: contribute to optimizing performance for reports and dashboards by addressing data loading and query performance issues to ensure a smooth user experience.
- Self-directed Learning and Adaptation: actively pursue learning opportunities, leveraging online courses, tutorials, and documentation to stay current with evolving technologies.
- Effective Communication: maintain clear and constructive communication with teammates and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of one year of experience using analytics applications and SQL programming.
