AI Platform Data Engineer, Ring Agent Platform Org

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking an AI Platform Data Engineer within the Ring Agent Platform Organization in Hawthorne, California. This role focuses on building scalable data platforms and AI-ready datasets to enable subscription lifecycle analytics, monitor service performance, and empower self-service reporting. The position is onsite and offers a salary range of USD 132,100 - 178,800 per year, with a requirement for a Master’s degree and at least 3 years of data engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Create and operate scalable, privacy- and security-conscious data pipelines, curate AI/ML-ready datasets, and support AI-native self-service data platforms.
• Collaborate with teams across Subscription, Finance, and Monitoring Services to gather requirements and deliver data solutions.
• Develop and maintain curated datasets to enable analysis of customer lifecycles, churn indicators, and service health metrics.
• Design and run data pipelines using AWS services and internal Amazon tools, incorporating automation to improve efficiency.
• Contribute to self-service data platforms that empower stakeholders to access and explore subscription and monitoring data.
• Implement data governance components, including data classification, PII detection, and data lineage tracking.
• Support collaborative sessions that help stakeholders understand and adopt data capabilities.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of data engineering experience.
• Experience with SQL.
• Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and building ETL pipelines.
• Experience building and operating highly available, distributed systems for extracting, ingesting, and processing large data sets.
• Experience developing, deploying, and managing AI products at scale.
• Education: Master’s degree (required).
