Based in McLean, Virginia, Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking an XR Developer to help build XR and Digital Twin solutions at the crossroads of XR, Digital Twin, 5G, Human Performance, and Edge Computing. The role involves turning immersive prototype concepts into production-ready systems while collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams.
Responsibilities
- Translate concept ideas into XR and Digital Twin platforms that reach production readiness.
- Develop, optimize, and scale immersive prototypes and digital twins into robust implementations across augmented, virtual, and mixed reality for diverse markets and industries.
- Maintain and expand knowledge of emerging technologies, evaluating combinations for their suitability in immersive and digital twin solutions.
- Collaborate with software developers, artists, and designers from varied technical backgrounds to tackle complex problems and create innovative systems.
- Operate as an agile developer, applying expertise to solve client challenges with a focus on satisfaction and process improvement.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in 3D software development.
- At least 2 years of experience with C# or C++.
- Experience with software development life cycle processes or Agile development, including Scrum or rapid prototyping.
- Hands-on experience with VR and AR technologies.
- Experience with 3D game or simulation engines such as Unity or Unreal Engine.
- Proficiency with source control systems such as Plastic SCM, Git, or SVN.
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
- Bachelor's degree.

Compensation
- Salary is determined by location, education, knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, and contract-specific factors.
- The projected pay range for this role is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 per year (USD).
- The posted range reflects typical compensation and is part of Booz Allen’s total rewards package.
