Responsibilities
- Provide subject matter proficiency for work described in the task.
- Apply analytical skills to support process improvement, specialized studies, and definition of requirements.
- Engage in analysis, planning, developing requirements documents, building functional models, developing procedures, developing functional architecture, and related management and technical duties.
- Demonstrate expertise in specialty areas.
- Perform back-end design and development tasks, including architecting back-end systems to support current and new capabilities and integrations, RESTful API development and modification, database management, and data model development and optimization.
Requirements
- Active Secret clearance or higher required; TS/SCI highly preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field required.
- A Master’s degree may substitute for 2 years of experience.
- About 10 years of software development experience in object-oriented and scripting languages, with proficiency across DevSecOps toolchains, microservices, and containers.
- Approximately 5 years of experience in back-end web design and development.
- Around 10 years of experience with relational databases, RESTful API development and integration.
- At least 5 years of Python and PostgreSQL experience.
- At least 5 years of experience with bug tracking software (e.g., Jira).
- At least 5 years of experience testing web-based applications.
- At least 5 years leading software development programs or projects.
- 3 years of experience with AWS Infrastructure, Kubernetes, and RedHat Linux.
- 5 years of experience with at least five of the following: PostgreSQL, RDS, Exodus, Python, Luna, Java, Docker, OpenJDK, Ansible, Packer, Maven, Kubernetes, Red Hat.
- Demonstrated experience in preparing, conducting, and documenting various systems tests and results to verify system operability and compliance with project standards and requirements.
- Practical experience developing in a cloud environment.
- Experience with integrating data from unclassified to classified application deployments.
- 5 years of experience with DoW software development.
- Experience using Agile Test-Driven development.
- Experience integrating into DoW DevSecOps environments.
- 5 years of experience with CI/CD software development.
- Demonstrated experience in utilizing UX design tool suites (e.g., Sketch, InVision).
- Experience structuring data so it can be integrated into machine learning technologies or AI capabilities.
