Web Developer

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain WordPress sites, including custom themes and plugins
• Tailor themes and plugins to align with project specifications
• Create responsive, mobile‑first layouts
• Guarantee optimal performance, robust security, and scalable architecture
• Enhance pages for SEO and fast loading times
• Diagnose and fix WordPress issues through debugging
• Conduct updates, backups, and ongoing site maintenance
• Implement clean UI/UX designs
• Adhere to WordPress coding standards and best practices

Requirements

• Proven WordPress development experience
• Solid proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP
• Experience building WordPress themes and plugins
• Experience with page builders such as Elementor, WPBakery, or Gutenberg
• Knowledge of MySQL and WordPress database architecture
• Understanding of security best practices and performance optimization
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Experience with WooCommerce and version control (git, etc)
• Experience with AI productivity tools (examples include Cursor, Antigravity)
• Familiarity with plugins like Custom Post Types and Advanced Custom Fields
• Ability to work with integrations and APIs
