Web Application Developer

VIVA HEALTH is hiring a Web Application Developer in Birmingham, AL (onsite) to support the design and delivery of internal and external healthcare web applications.

Responsibilities

• Partner with internal and external clients to identify, define, and fulfill data and application needs
• Coordinate multiple concurrent projects, including tracking mechanisms, deliverable dates, and documentation
• Produce UX designs and wireframes from customer feedback and translate them into functional web applications
• Perform UI development using JavaScript technologies

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• Less than 1 year of experience in design and/or development
• Ability to create Working Prototypes
• Knowledge of UX Design for web applications
• Strong understanding of HTML(5), CSS(3), and JavaScript Frameworks
• Understanding of model driven development such as ROR and Grails
• Excellent interpersonal skills to support frequent communication with staff at varying levels, internal and external
