Job Description

What we offer

Remote work for a contract-to-hire position with Ledgent Technology. The role focuses on Vista / Viewpoint ERP administration, development, and reporting, with an hourly rate of USD 60. You will collaborate across Finance, Accounting, HR, and Operations to deliver reliable data and scalable reporting solutions, while enjoying the flexibility of a remote setup and the opportunity to grow into a Vista subject-matter expert.

Responsibilities

  • Administer and maintain Viewpoint Vista ERP, including configuration, upgrades, and performance optimization
  • Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 support, troubleshooting issues and refining workflows
  • Manage user roles, permissions, and security controls
  • Monitor system performance to ensure reliability and data integrity
  • Design and develop SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and data integrations
  • Build and maintain reports using Crystal Reports and SSRS
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable reporting solutions
  • Optimize database performance and reporting efficiency
  • Customize Vista workflows, forms, and modules
  • Lead or support integrations with third-party systems such as HRIS and payroll
  • Recommend and implement enhancements to improve operational efficiency
  • Train end users on Vista functionality and best practices
  • Create and maintain documentation, SOPs, and reporting guides
  • Support onboarding of new users and rollout of new features
  • Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, HR, and Operations on reporting, compliance, and system usage
  • Support year-end financial processes and reporting requirements

Requirements

  • 3+ years of hands-on Vista by Viewpoint administration experience
  • Strong SQL skills including T-SQL, stored procedures, and performance tuning
  • Experience with Crystal Reports and SQL-based reporting tools
  • Proven experience supporting ERP systems in a production environment
  • Comfortable working directly with business stakeholders, especially Accounting/Finance
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
